PreVView

There are people who say that the way you dress is secondary when it comes to an interview. But they are wrong. Do you know that it is the first thing the employer notice about you and can come to an conclusion of employment, especially when you are not properly attired?

I didn't come across any formal interview in my life YET. But in my school, I was prepared to wear formal for presentations (many a times) and interview (once).

I wore a formal shirt tugged into a shiny pants. Apparently, I wore that same outfits many a times but none of the tutors said anything. BUT BUT BUT the previous presentation I had, the tutor said that my outfit was rather inappropriate, but luckily, it didn't affect my score.

This is one of my resume for my internship application/school (assignment):

FAIL -.-
1. My hair is not tied up.
2. My fringe is covering my eyes.

I've learnt my lesson.

VISUME WARS COMPETITION

Wondering what is Visume Wars?
I supposed the word Visume = Video + Resume (HAHA, I created this, not sure though)
The candidates create a 90-second Visume that tells why they are great employees to any company!

It brings me to an attention that a Visume should portray the candidate professionally, meaning the video should be in HD.

But I just visited this Visume and guess what?
If I'm the employer, I will not be satisfied and will not employ her.

1. Yes, indeed she wants to portray that she's into media and communications, thus having that start. Since she studied media and communications, I thought that the video would be more interesting as she knows what she can do.

2. She should have gotten a better camera and proper outfit so that she can score the interview. The camera shouldn't be facing downwards to her.

3. How about the cleverage? A proper outfit would not reveal any unnecessary stuff. It cannot be too low-cut and too short.

Disclaimer: I'm not trying to ruin her life or whatsoever. I'm just giving suggestions.
