My Nuffnang Story

I remembered how skeptical I was when I first saw Nuffnang advertisement on people's blog. I kept thinking if it was real since there are other websites on the internet that pays you for services such as putting ads on your blog. Perhaps it was due to the untapped market potential. (Kudos to Nuffnang being the first in Asia-Pacific to be blog advertising community.) It was probably due to the extra cash that I want to earn that I tried for it. I joined Nuffnang in late 2007 and Nuffnang came into my life :) And I'm glad it did.


Honestly, social media was not part of me until November/December 2009. I was very focused and concentrated on my O levels that I did not touch the internet for 3-4 months. Hardworking me :D


I started joining Nuffnang movie contests in 2009, only after my O levels. I was not very sure about this, because it was not something that I have done before. I did not think that I would get my hands on the pair of tickets since there were many bloggers out there, but no harm trying.

Julie & Julia, The Princess & The Frog, Alice in Wonderland, Toy Story 3, Tangled, TRON: Legacy, Cars 2,  Real Steel, Footloose :)

Most of the times, I only participate in those contests which the movie I am interested in. Otherwise, I see no point of watching it since I don't like it. Why not give others the chance to win? :)

Then I started attending events. Initially invited by my BFF to tag along with other G+ bloggers in one of the event. I got into Glitterati Plus afterwards :)  Though there are not many to attend, they provided me with learning opportunities :)

I have no idea why I attended this, probably to accompany my BFF :) since she wanted to go. I remember the moment I stepped in, my legs went slightly jelly and I was thinking when we would be getting out of the place -.-

My journey with Nuffnang actually started with my BFF, but we settled for some of the events on our own after some time. I had to learn not to rely and made certain decisions on my own (just like our final year specialization). Somehow Nuffnang influenced me to select Marketing as final year specialization. I told myself it is a matter of time that you have to part with your close friends to build your desired future. I do not mean to leave them, but you cannot possibly stick with them forever, right? Therefore, I took a step forward and did not hesistate much to attend other events (that/if my BFF did not want to).

When the environment forces you, you tend to find ways to live :) That is how I found mine :) Glad that Nuffnang helped me in the process of growing up as well :) Nuffnang also accompanied me through with my braces (I'm still having though) and/in my entire poly life (final year!) :P

I have never thought that blogging has become a part of me. I had the opportunity to learn new things and meet new people, and they are friends who we always attend events with. I learn to be a more people-oriented person as a process.  I am really glad that opportunities were given to me. Just grab whatever comes before you or push yourself and you might be surprised who you actually are/can be.

I will be looking forward to growing and creating memories with Nuffnang, as well as attending more events in the future! :D
