Happy Boxing Day!

Merry Christmas to everybody!

How did you spend your Christmas yesterday? Besides opening your presents and gathering with your closest and loved ones :)

For me, I didn't sit down and do nothing. Besides both of that, I decided to do something special and different on that day: baking. Ok nothing much special and different. But the thing is I was innovating as I went along baking. Courageous much? Because I decided on the ones I wanted to bake too last minute, and the shop ran out of the ingredient (only one) I needed.

Yea I wanted a theme so that both can complement each other. But I guess in terms of flavour, it was relatively ok only. I didn't want people to think that both are the same when they are different. Oh well. I still need improvement!

On Christmas Eve, I actually got a log (ice cream) cake from Swensen's for the family.

I wanted to get the one with strawberry (but out of stock) and I was a tad disappointed by this dark chocolate. Nevertheless, I was glad that my family did enjoy the ice cream.

Anyway, this is the first time I receive many presents for Christmas! Thank you everybody!

Last but not least, I'm continuing the baking today for the unfinished cake (due to lack of ingredients)! LOL, I purchased 2 packs of butter on Sun & another 2 on Mon, but I was only left with 1/2 -.-

Well, I'm baking for the birthday of my loved one, that is tomorrow. Nothing will get in my way of getting the final product!
