This lovely Mile Crepe from Humble Beginnings was delivered to my house on a Saturday morning.
Out of the sudden, no occassion, nothing. Why do I get this mile crepe?
Few weeks ago, Rachel told me about the promotion - the first 20 orders received on that day would be free of charge, the next 10 would receive 50% off, and etc. It was actually quite a rush, because I only got to know on that day even though Huijin and her was talking about it on twitter a day ago (apparently, I didn't notice the conversation)
I tried my luck, and got the 50% discount, so I paid $34 for this, including delivery :) Not bad, considering that the cake actually costs min $58.
Since it was in a hurry, I just ordered any flavour - which Rachel also ordered - Nutella Banana. If you are a fan of chocolates and bananas, this is for you. The portion of bananas in it is not really a lot, just enough for you to feel the presence of bananas, since the entire dessert is thin and light.
I was introduced to this mile crepe in flavours such as Swiss Velvet Chocolate, Oreo's Cookies 'n' Cream, and etc, in both Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Blog Awards 2011 and #Nuffnangis5 Birthday Bash :D
I think it is a must to try this unique dessert, something that is really different from the normal cake (ok I call it cake since it is better translated to my parents).
A brochure was also provided upon delivery.
The images of different crepes alone is enough to make me want more ^^
Visited their website again, I think I would patronize them again for the flavours I have yet to try - like Strawberry Haven and Royal Milk Tea. I'm a fan of strawberries. I like them on my desserts, hehe. Well, as for milk tea, BBT is still a craving for me though. I also wonder how it tastes like if it is a dessert.
